- Living in the Shadows, Healing in the Law: An Aboriginal Experience in Recovery using Psychotherapy and Aboriginal Spiritual Practice. Tjanara Goreng Goreng.
Pam Williams (aka her stupid, offensive made up aboriginal name Tjanara Goreng Goreng) is responsible for the above journal article.
The content of Living in the Shadows, Healing in the Law: An Aboriginal Experience in Recovery using Psychotherapy and Aboriginal Spiritual practice is delusional at best and insanity at worst as it relates to what she said happened to her in Longreach.
This article was obviously not vigorously vetted by the reviewers before its publication because if a number of the outlandish allegations had been thoroughly questioned this paper would have been consigned to the rubbish bin where it belongs.
Pam says "It was white men and white nuns who abused me, never any of my Aboriginal relatives." but what she doesn't do is back it up with any evidence, Pam has a propensity to make something up and expect people to believe it without any questioning and some of the rubbish she has sprouted over the years demands examination because of the heinous nature of her allegations. There are also a number of inconsistencies in her stories and when examined don't add up and Pam has been caught out in "improvising" her lies (e.g changing her story about being raped at age six in Longreach by a priest who had never been there so in an interview with Fran Kelly on the ABC on 4 September 2018 she changed her story and said the rape happened in Rockhampton (where Pam had never been until she was eleven)
Pam goes on to say; "When I was five a Catholic priest in Longreach began to abuse me sexually. From then, until I went to boarding school aged 12, I was subjected to sexual abuse by white male adults, and to ritualistic abuse by adults in Longreach who who included members of the Catholic Church. These people included the swimming coach at the local swimming club where I was training to be a champion swimmer, and at other places in Brisbane where I often travelled to participate in Queensland State swimming competitions. It only stopped after one of the priests, Father Wright, tried to have sex with me one night. I then left the school. I was 18 years old. I went to Brisbane to attend teachers college: however by then I was drinking heavily and it interfered with my studies, so I left and found a job. Pam says here that Father Wright "tried to have sex with me one night" but in her book it seems Wright was constantly raping her.
Lets unpack these allegations. Pam supposedly was being sexually abused from the age of five until the age of 12 when she went to boarding school in Rockhampton by the local priest as well as white male adults and ritualistic abuse by male adults including the local swimming coach at the swimming club where she was supposedly training to be a champion swimmer and at other places in Brisbane where she allegedly went to swim in the Qld State swimming titles. Pam never ever swam at the state titles this can be confirmed by her older siblings and if her father was alive he would also confirm that Pam is lying as could her mother if she didn't have dementia. This is a bare faced lie and if one reads her delusional memoir A Long Way from No Go she embellishes the allegations by saying she was going on to Olympic glory (no she wasn't because the only time she swam outside of the central west was to go to Rockhampton in 1969 [not 1968 as she said in the book] and she didn't cut it at the regional level, no, Pam wasn't going anywhere after the Rockhampton regionals it's just delusional fantasy. It is Pam's allegations at the Rockhampton regional swimming titles (in her offensive book A Long Way from No Go) that Pam made the most heinous allegations that her father took her to the Rockhampton Catholics bishops residence to be raped by two priests (the abovementioned Father Wright was the only person to sexually abuse Pam, no-one else did). Unfortunately for Pam these Rockhampton rape allegations are completely unfounded and can be proven beyond doubt to be lies (see the Details section of this website) It's just Pam grandstanding to sate her craven need to be the centre of attention and play the victim when the reality is that it's all madness, make believe and lies.
It seems from what Pam said quite a number of male adults in Longreach were having sex with her from the age of five to twelve, she must have been extremely busy, where was all this supposedly happening, was there a conga line stretching across Longreach to the little house where the Williams family lived, none of Pam's older brothers or sisters ever recall being trampled by a runaway mob of males raping Pam, this is just Pam's insanity and delusional fantasy. Pam said she was on the demon drink from the age of seven on a regular basis. Did she just pop over to the local church and ask for a triple alter wine with a scotch chaser and a few cracker biscuits before she stumbled home drunk on a daily basis and people were oblivious to this seven to twelve year old drunk? It's total madness from a person who lives in a fantasy world of lies and delusional make believe.
Pam Williams suffers from serious mental health problems (disassociate identity disorder or multiple personality disorder) as well as being a habitual liar, a thief, a narcissist and psychopath. A myriad of problems here for Pam's delusions which cannot be substantiated.
This website has pointed out a number of the ignorant, offensive, delusional fantasies of Pam over the years (see Details and Link sections of this website) this journal article is just another one of the many.
To be continued.
